I am a small town girl trying to pretend like the big city is where I belong. I love animals of all kinds, minus those creepy crawlers and slimy ones. I have a fear of heights but love what is up in the sky. I am a mother of one, a wife of a thoughtful man, and a volleyball athlete alum. The most rewarding things in my life are my daughter, my husband, photography and making people happy. Above all, I am a daughter of God and wouldn't be where I am without his divine help. I seek out ways to be challenged, and aspire to blow my own mind.
I indulge in chocolate, caffeinated drinks (particularly Pepsi), insanely "trendy" T.V. shows, and family.. if that's possible! I get giggly when I see photography gear that is outdated and smells like the 60's (or earlier!).
I get my photography passion from my grandma and uncle. They always had such amazing film gear, and took photos of EVERY piece of my life growing up. Thousands and thousands of 4x6's and an overflowing collection of homemade videos consume my old closet as well as my grandparent's home. A few of the grandkids even bicker over who gets what, because so many treasured memories stem from our grandparents and I have them to thank for my ability to never give up. I was first handed a camera when I was still in early grade school, and soon was saving my pennies for the latest and greatest "cool cam".
I finally got my big girl camera in 2008 and began my journey in a class room at my local community college. I soon realized I was a hands on person, but always keep up with workshops and dive in on any piece of education I can gain towards being a better 'me'.
My photography journey doesn't stop there, or here. I will continuously thrive to be more, better, and ultimately strive for my client's happiness!
