Easter Mini's 2014

Our family raises little chickens for eggs and this year we welcomed 3 beautiful Rhode Island Reds to the household just in time for Easter pictures! We had a pretty successful turn out this year and are super thankful to our wonderful clients and friends who made this possible! The kids were EXCELLENT, the lighting was just perfect, and luckily we found an area that wasn't too heavily saturated with "fans" (mostly sweet elderly people on bird walks :] ) that stopped to "ooo" & "ahhh". Who can blame them? The kids and chicks were SUPER cute! We even had a visit from a client's bunny pet! They were quite the little hoppers, but still just super little.

A big shout out to Josh & Jennifer from 2Js Photography for lending equipment (that I must have now!), to my husband for keeping me going sanely and for helping me out as my awesome assistant, to the clients and adorable kids who made this whole thing possible, and to the hikers who never once stepped in front of the camera so I was able to get every cute shot!

(Ps. The brighter/lighter" chick is my fave. I named her Stretch, because she is CONSTANTLY stretching her legs and its super cute! She's the older of the 3 by a couple days.)

 

 

Meet my sweet daughter Tatum and little miss K. They met just a few days before and just became good friends instantly, so the reuniting at pictures was the cherry on top! I can see many future play dates with these two :)
